Meet Creatorship Founder – Esther Young

Creative Director & Lead Creative Consultant

Esther’s Story

Hello, and thank you for exploring Creatorship and what we can offer. Creatorship is a vision that I have been nurturing for some time, so I am thrilled to be bringing it to life. I have had an exciting and progressive career in Design since leaving my University days behind me, and I feel honoured and privileged to have experienced all I have (just as I nearly hit my 40th) So here is a bit about me ..

I am a Creative Thinker, and a natural thought leader, who is calming, compassionate, yet motivating and inspiring. For almost 20 years, I have worked in Commercial Retail, in both Buying and Design for supply and Manufacture. I love Retail and all that comes with it. I love developing, conceptualising, analysing, re-engineering, people watching, reacting, building brands, transforming and improving, creating a vision, delighting consumers, and identifying and creating great opportunities. Retail is a fascinating, ever changing, yet ever familiar place. Having worked directly and closely with all the main Grocers and Supermarket Giants, along with many names that you would recognise from the High Street, I have a wealth of experience in Designing Products for UK consumers, and all the processes and considerations that come along the way.

I am extremely passionate about being an influential, consistent leader, and have recruited, developed and managed many Creative Design teams of all shapes and sizes for over 10 years. I influence with passion, excitement, encouragement and empathy. My values are engraved in me, so have always been nothing other than authentic, honest and true.

My areas of specialism are focused yet varied, if that even makes sense? For the majority of my working career, I have worked with Stationery, Greetings and Celebration ‘paper based’ products, servicing key occasions such as Birthdays, events, and of course the big day, Christmas! It is a wonderful industry, and one which is a privilege to be Designing and developing waaay ahead of time, knowing that the launch will being excitement and joy.

With the support of my family, and a big and brilliant network of Creative Talent, and fellow experienced Creative Businesses around me, I am so pleased to have launched Creatorship. There is a big vision for Creatorship, as I create an inclusive Creative Community, whilst helping existing brands define and sharpen their products and creative vision.
